About Loom Enterprises
Loom Enterprises was founded by James Massa to provide resources and consulting services that allow synergistic relationships to be formed between individuals, businesses, educational institutions, governments as well as faith-based and non-faith-based non-profit organizations. There is so much hype today around the term “synergistic” that it has begun to be worn down much like the word “paradigm”. However, having spent over 20 years deeply involved in global economies, the high tech industry, engagement with government entities, and supporting charitable organizations, James recognized a need for a set of resources that would allows the entities within 7 key areas of cultural influence to work in a manner both locally and globally that allowed for very high impact in achieving a shared vision.
What impact do various relationships have today? Most “vendors” add value to an organization with the key word being “add”. If a vendor supplies a commodity, they may do so with excellence, but the impact on the vision of the customer is not significant. Some “partners” provide a multiplier of value. They too may multiply an organizations ability to do something, be somewhere, or provide a service. However, they are by nature an impact multiplier. By enabling entities to work in a manner providing the ability to recognize early on whether a relationship truly has the potential for exponential impact in achieving a shared vision, Loom Enterprises can ensure that transformational impact can be achieved in the local and global communities in which various entities have influence. This degree of impact is synergistic! It is not addition. It is not multiplication. It is exponential ! This impact occurs due to the way in which the organizations can coordinate their unique values to interact in achieving a shared vision.
"Why Loom?"
It has been described that people have 5 great desires to belong. People wish to belong to a family, a unique interpersonal relationship, a team, a workplace or place of service, and a community. Each of those areas is made up of individuals or organizations that have unique characteristics and value, much as each part of the human body has a unique and critical role. The body is knit together with nerve and muscle and sinew in complex, interdependent ways that allow the synergy among all the members that make up the body to be something that no single member could be. The eyes, ears, arms and legs all have something to offer that they are uniquely able to provide to the benefit of the entire body. So too can be the nature of relationships between individuals and organizations. However, unlike the wonder of the human body, relationships are not created naturally to work synergistically. Loom Enterprises helps weave together relationships, identifying the various colors of thread offered by each entity so that a wonderful tapestry can be woven, one that could not occur without the involvement and unique placement of the value each entity brings to the relationships.
The Loom is the weaver’s tool. Educating and consulting with organizations to provide the ability to form synergistic relationships is the art of weaving together the entities that influence the 7 key areas of culture.
